Are YOU Struggling in Prayer?

Let’s be honest—prayer can be hard. As much as I love to fellowship with God and teach prayer by precept and example, there have been times when the routine of prayer was very challenging for me. We are living in a very chaotic time in our society. There’s financial chaos, racial chaos, political chaos, just out right chaos! Well-meaning Christians are tempted to get caught up in their own opinions. We can get so wrapped up in our personal perspectives that we stop praying according to God’s word and start praying from our own biases. That kind of prayer doesn’t work.
Identify what is your biggest pitfall... and then get rid of it. Attack it like you would an aggressive disease. Decide to not tolerate anything that would keep you out of the flow of prayer. When you are struggling to pray, it’s not specifically about you. The enemy is trying to stop the plan of God. When you “zoom out” and look at the big picture, it will help you to understand the goal of the enemy and the warfare against your prayer time. If you are struggling with prayer, know that I am praying for you. But, more importantly, know that God’s presence is there to help remove the struggle so you can enjoy unlimited fellowship with Him.
